Class of 2008!

It is so bittersweet to say goodbye to this wonderful group of kids!  I love them so much, and I am their biggest fan.  I know they will do incredibly well in Kindergarten because I’ve seen them grow over the last two years into wonderful young students!

Every class leaves behind their memories and have taught me more than I could ever teach them.  Their smiles and laughter will never be forgotten and I sincerely hope that each of them visit me!  (hint, hint!)

Our official graduation ceremony takes place on Thursday, May 29th at 6:30pm.  I am very excited, and yes I may shed a tear here or there but they are happy tears!   Congratulations Serendipity Class of 2008!!!

Sunscreen reminder…

It’s getting very warm outside!  This is a great time to remind everyone to apply sunscreen to your children before they play outside.  According to NAFCC standards, young children shouldn’t be playing outside at school once the temperature soars above 95 degrees.  This doesn’t mean that children can’t play outside at all. I’m sure many of us will be at the waterpark this summer! Living in the desert that means that we need to use caution, however.  So take advantage of these 80 degree days as much as possible and please protect your child’s skin!

Welcome!

Thank you so much for stopping in! I’m really excited to welcome all of you to this blog; where I will be able to share information about childhood development, current issues affecting children, activities, reminders, local events, and more! I hope that you’ll stop in often and see what’s new.
